Chest Medicine Associates is a group of physicians who are fellowship-trained and board-certified in the specialties of pulmonary, critical care, neurocritical care, and/or sleep medicine.

Some of the pulmonary conditions that our physicians diagnose and treat include asthma, COPD, dyspnea (shortness of breath), abnormal chest x-rays and CT scans, lung nodules and masses, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary fibrosis, sarcoidosis, and pleural effusion. We also offer preventative care, such as lung cancer screening. Our physicians also diagnose and treat obstructive sleep apnea, insomnia, narcolepsy, parasomnia, and restless legs.

Our physicians also provide inpatient pulmonary, critical care, and neurocritical care services for patients at Maine Medical Center as well as pulmonary/ventilator care for patients at Genesis HealthCare/Springbrook Center. Our practice offers procedures such as bronchoscopy, endobronchial ultrasound, comprehensive pulmonary function testing, thoracentesis, in-lab and home sleep studies.

We also participate in clinical research trials so that our patients can benefit from the most promising treatments.
